Pikachu is on its way to SKP-S.
Hiroshi Fujiwara‘s THUNDERBOLT PROJECT BY FRGMT & POKÉMON is getting ready to display an expansive capsule at Beijing’s biggest retail pop-up, SKP-S. The capsule includes a vibrant array of apparel alongside toys, accessories and lifestyle goods emblazoned with some of Pokémon’s most popular characters. This capsule follows a collaboration with Moncler Genius seen back in June.
Each piece of apparel in the capsule comes in black and features contrasting white branding. Many of the pieces are stamped with “THUNDERBOLT PROJECT BY FRGMT & POKÉMON,” as seen on previous collaborations before this one, as well as a bold “FRGMT” logo imagined in the style of Pokémon’s official block-lettered typeface. Tonal prints of Pikachu and Psyduck are also emblazoned across a series of hoodies, sweaters, long-sleeves and T-shirts. Besides the apparel, the capsule features a bright yellow Pikachu plush with fragment‘s twin lightning bolts embroidered across its chest. There’s a smaller version of the toy in the form of a keychain, but people can also opt for a black Psyduck if they wish. Rounding up the capsule is a rug, pillow, tote bag, retaW car fresheners and various iPhone cases.
THUNDERBOLT PROJECT BY FRGMT & POKÉMON’s upcoming capsule will be available at Beijing’s SKP-S from December 12, 2020 – January 1, 2021, ranging from ¥469 – ¥1,499 RMB (approximately $72 – $230 USD).
