The Spanish pop star spices up the ‘After Hours’ track with her own flair.
To celebrate one of the most successful smash records of his career, The Weeknd has partnered up with Spanish pop star Rosalía for a brand new remix of his now one-year old track “Blinding Lights”. The tune — which was co-produced by Max Martin and Oscar Holter and recently named as Spotify’s top-streaming song of 2020 — has been elevated with Rosalía’s bilingual abilities as she spices up the chorus with Spanish lyrics. In addition, the two talents also dropped a new music video to coincide with the release. With his now oft-seen bloody facial appearance intact, the Canadian crooner cozies up next to the El Mal Querer singer in a three and half minute segment that shows eerie BTS footage of their cover art photoshoot.
In recent memory, the R&B/Pop musician was also confirmed to be the headliner for the Super Bowl LV Halftime Show, in addition to being seen expressing his frustrations over being snubbed for the upcoming Grammy Awards. Artists like Drake, Elton John among others have showed their support for the Canadian hit-maker and his successes over the past year. Interested in more music news?
