Samsung Unveils Stunning 110-Inch MicroLED 4K TV

For only roughly $156,000 USD it can be yours.

Samsung has just announced a massive 110-inch television made with its MicroLED technology. Switching it up from its modular versions of the display tech, previous MicroLED displays required assembly, this 11-inch TV comes as one unit.

Samsung comments: “As consumers rely on their televisions for more functions than ever, we are incredibly excited to bring the 110-inch MicroLED to the commercial market. Samsung MicroLED is going to redefine what premium at-home experiences mean for consumers around the world.”

This television is able to display 4K resolution and 8 million pixels using micro-sized LEDs, and has a run time of 100,000 hours (roughly over a decade). The television also has a function where you can split the screen into two separate 55-inch displays. This function is useful for those looking to keep track of multiple sports at once, or stream a walkthrough while playing a video game — without sacrificing image quality.

This kind of technology does have its disadvantages from a consumer’s point of view as the 110-inch display will cost roughly $156,000 USD. Expect Samsung TVs with MicroLED technology to hit stores in early 2021.
