Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Edge Releases With Bright "Safety Orange/University Gold" Ensemble

The patchy silhouette receives a wacky color presentation just in time for St. Patty’s Day.

For Nike (NYSE:NKE -0.95%) and its SB division, much of the attention from the sneaker community has been drawn towards its forthcoming collaborations with Supreme and Carpet Company. However, just before those receive their public debut, the category’s GR lineup is calling for our recognition as it has just dropped the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Edge in a fresh new “Safety Orange/University Gold” colorway.

This wacky take atop the DIY-esque silhouette keys in on amalgamating vivid tones, some of which can be closely associated with the thematic colors of St. Patrick’s Day that is celebrated towards the middle of March. On the lateral sides, “Safety Orange” floods the tumbled leather materials and comes offset by navy forefoot overlays made of suede. Additionally, “Lucky Green” Swooshes make an appearance in two forms via the distressed borders that make up the primary logos as well as the suede checks attached to the toe caps which are completely filled in. Its opposite panel is made of “University Gold” backdrops that come married with more Leprechaun-like Swooshes.

Placed underneath all of that busy color-blocking are elements that skew to the neutral side. Simple white midsoles are neighbored by gum overlays which add a dimensional effect to the shoe.

If interested in picking these up, you can find them available now via Nike UK for £90 (approx. $126 USD).
